Imec, headquartered in Leuven, Belgium, invites a PhD-level scientist to join the EUV Lithography Materials team within the Advanced Patterning department. The role focuses on R&D of EUV patterning materials and close collaboration with suppliers to drive JDP initiatives.

You will work in a dynamic international environment, travel as needed, and pursue IP opportunities while contributing to cutting-edge nanotechnology research at one of the world’s premier centers.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Physical Chemistry or Materials Engineering or equivalent by experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in international teams.
• Experience with lithography and photoresist is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support R&D of EUV photoresists and underlayers with suppliers.
• Own and drive Joint Development Projects with material and equipment suppliers.
• Collaborate to identify issues and modify materials or processes to meet needs.
• Develop solutions using formal education, statistical knowledge, and in-house tools.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
• Identify IP opportunities and present at conferences.
