Job summary

UCB is seeking an EU Medical Lead axSpA to translate global rheumatology strategy into a focused European plan. You will drive scientific communication, evidence generation, and medical education across Europe, collaborating with country medical teams and external partners.

The role sits in the European Immunology Medical team with a hybrid model and HQ in Belgium or offices in Slough or Monheim. You will build trusted scientific relationships with experts, investigators, and societies,

Qualifications

Educational background in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field.
Extensive Medical Affairs experience in pharma.
Strong knowledge of rheumatology/immunology and patient journeys.
Experience across complex matrix organisations and diverse stakeholders.
Ability to progress priorities independently and deliver initiatives.

Responsibilities

Translate global rheumatology strategy into focused European medical plans.
Enable consistent scientific activities across European country medical teams.
Create regional medical education and scientific communication programmes.
Coordinate congress activities and external scientific engagement.
Progress priorities independently within a cross-functional matrix organisation.
Shape evidence generation addressing unmet needs and complete initiatives.
