Job summary

The Financial Mechanism Office (FMO) in Brussels is seeking a CSF-TN Officer to manage the Civil Society Fund – Transnational initiatives at European level. You will oversee grant lifecycles, ensure compliance with donor requirements, and coordinate with legal, finance and management teams while engaging with civil society networks and international partners.

A Master’s degree and at least six years of relevant experience are required, with strong project management, analytical and drafting

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in grant management and programme or project management.
• Experience working with civil society organisations, international organisations or European networks.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full grant lifecycle, follow up grant agreements, work plans and reporting requirements, organise annual meetings and monitor implementation progress, risks, budgets and results across the portfolio.
• Coordinate closely with legal, finance and management colleagues to ensure sound financial management, and compliance with applicable regulations and donor requirements.
• Oversee the CSF-TN portfolio, ensuring effective implementation and alignment with Donor priorities and Management guidance.
• Represent the FMO in meetings with European networks, civil society organisations, think tanks and international partners.
