Cronos Europa in Brussels is seeking a Junior Media Analyst to support media monitoring, reporting, and analysis for EU institutions onsite. You will transform media data into actionable insights, track coverage across Member States, and contribute to reports, visualizations and summaries that support public outreach.

The role suits detail-oriented, analytical professionals with interest in media, communications and European affairs, proficient in English and comfortable handling large datasets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in communications, journalism, media studies, political science, data analytics, marketing or related field.
• Excellent command of English, written and spoken.
• Strong analytical, research and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience with data, including Excel and data management tools.
• Ability to handle large volumes of information and extract insights.
• Strong drafting, editing and reporting capabilities.
• Knowledge of information systems and data processing methods.
• Understanding of accessibility principles in communications.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, international environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, tact, diplomacy and professionalism.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and track media coverage across sources and channels.
• Compile and classify articles and media content related to topics.
• Produce regular and ad hoc media monitoring reports.
• Identify and report on KPIs and coverage trends.
• Analyze media coverage quantitatively and qualitatively.
• Evaluate presence of EU Institutions across media sources.
• Support creation of reports, summaries, presentations and infographics.
• Map media landscapes and trends across EU Member States.
• Process and validate large datasets from multiple sources.
• Contribute to drafting, editing and quality review of analytical content.
• Ensure data presented clearly and visually.
