Syensqo, a science company, seeks an EU Industrial Compounding Technology Leader to bridge technology, manufacturing, and innovation across extrusion and compounding operations in Belgium. You will partner with plant teams, maintenance, suppliers, and R&I to solve real-world challenges and enable growth.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, data-driven improvements, and scaling new products from concept to manufacturing, with travel to regional facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. or graduate degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in extrusion operations engineering.
• Willingness to travel for training and projects.
• Strong safety and environmental orientation.
• Familiarity with PSM and OSHA 1910 standards.
• Knowledge of CAD, SAP/PM, PIMS, and SCADA systems.
• Ability to wear PPE including FRC clothing, steel toe shoes, hard hat, ear plugs, and safety glasses.
