European Defence Agency (EDA) in Brussels seeks a Communication Consultant to design and implement the Agency’s communication strategies. Based on short-term assignments, you will work closely with senior representatives in this strategic sector to ensure clear, timely messages across channels.

You will coordinate media relations, align content with EU defence policies, and monitor KPIs to improve campaigns.

Qualifications

Experience in consulting and coordinating media and communication services for public sector clients, including EU projects in defence.
In-depth understanding of EU defence policies and challenges.
English proficiency at C2 level with strong writing/editing abilities.
Ability to conceptualize and execute comprehensive communication plans.
Adaptability to work with cross-functional teams in fast-paced, multicultural environments.
Familiarity with digital tools, CMS and social media platforms.

Responsabilités

Design and oversee strategic communication plans tailored to EDA priorities.
Ensure communications comply with internal guidelines and external frameworks.
Develop messaging frameworks, editorial calendars and integrated plans for multiple channels.
Coordinate with EU defence representatives, stakeholders and communication teams to hit KPIs.
Monitor campaign outcomes and propose data-driven improvements.
