White & Case LLP in Brussels invites applications for an associate in our EU Law team. We welcome candidates with practical experience in Antitrust, Mergers, Regulatory ( ESG & digital regulation ), Foreign Subsidies Regulation and State aid. Litigation before EU Courts is an advantage and strong academic credentials are required.

You will work in a client‑facing practice, drafting pleadings, coordinating junior lawyers, and developing case strategies with partners across our global network.

Qualifications

• Membership of an EEA Bar is required.
• 3–5 years of post-qualification experience at a top-tier international law firm.
• Excellent research, drafting and analytical skills.
• Solid communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Drafting legal memoranda, court pleadings or regulatory submissions with minimal supervision.
• Coordinating and reviewing the work of more junior lawyers.
• Independently anticipating roadblocks and proposing solutions.
• Communicating with clients and managing case progress.
• Contributing to case strategy discussions with senior lawyers and partners.
• Managing case files and deadlines.
