A&O Shearman LLP Belgium is seeking an EU-qualified senior associate to join our antitrust practice in Brussels. The team advises on all aspects of competition law before the European Commission, EU courts and national authorities.

You should have a Master of Law from the EU, EU training, 6-8 years in antitrust at a reputable firm, and an excellent command of English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch would be a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Law within the EU with strong academic results.
• Completed EU legal training.
• 6-8 years' experience in the antitrust department of a reputable law firm.
• Excellent command of English (written and spoken); knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with a collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsabilités

• Join our antitrust practice in Brussels and support complex Belgian and cross-border matters.
• Advise on competition law before the European Commission, EU courts and national authorities.
• Contribute to high-profile cartel cases, behavioural antitrust issues and merger filings.
