Meta4ce, part of De Cronos Groep, is seeking an ERP Enterprise Architect specialized in real estate to design scalable architectures that bridge business strategy and IT execution. You will evaluate best-of-breed versus best-of-suite ERP options and craft integration patterns across ERP, proptech, CRM, and finance systems.

You will engage with CxOs and technical teams to align roadmaps, assess portfolios for modernization, and enforce governance standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in Enterprise or Solution Architecture with Real Estate focus.
• Experience designing and implementing ERP landscapes (SAP, Dynamics 365, Oracle, etc.).
• Strong understanding of best-of-breed vs best-of-suite ERP strategies.
• Deep domain knowledge of real estate processes and workflows.
• Knowledge of TOGAF or similar EA frameworks; modeling with ArchiMate, BPMN, UML.
• Proficiency in APIs, SOA, EAI, and microservices integration.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe, PRINCE2, and IT governance.
• Dutch language is strong; English is a plus.

About the Role

Currently, we’re looking for a specialized ERP Enterprise Architect with deep expertise in the Real Estate sector. In this role, you will help organizations navigate complex transformation journeys by designing robust, scalable architecture models.

You will bridge the gap between business strategy and IT execution, helping clients choose the right balance between best-of-breed component architectures and well-established best-of-suite ERP solutions. You understand the strengths and limitations of standard enterprise software and possess the expertise to design customized, tailormade solution architectures (conceptual, logical, and physical) that integrate seamlessly into the client’s broader ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture Design: Define and build conceptual, logical, and physical architectures for real estate enterprises, balancing customized solutions with standard ERP capabilities.
• Solution Strategy: Evaluate and implement a "best-of-breed" versus "best-of-suite" ERP strategy tailored to specific operational needs in property management, development, and asset operations.
• Ecosystem Integration: Design integration patterns to connect core ERP platforms with specialized real estate proptech, CRM, financial, and BI systems using modern integration styles (APIs, ESB, event-driven architecture).
• Stakeholder Management: Interface with CxOs, business leaders, and technical teams to align IT roadmaps with strategic organizational goals.
• Portfolio & Risk Assessment: Evaluate existing technology portfolios and business processes for discrepancies, modernization opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
• Governance & Standards: Establish and enforce architecture governance, supporting Architecture Review Board processes and guiding development teams through the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 to 10+ years of demonstrable experience in Enterprise Architecture or Solution Architecture, with a strong specialization in the Real Estate sector (e.g., property management, real estate development, asset management).
• Proven track record in designing and implementing complex ERP landscapes (such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo Suits, Oracle, or specialized real estate ERP suites).
• Deep understanding of "best-of-breed" ecosystems versus monolithic "best-of-suite" platforms, knowing precisely when and how to build custom extensions.
• Domain Knowledge: Extensive experience with real estate business processes, accounting models, and industry-specific workflows.
• Architecture Frameworks: Strong knowledge of TOGAF or similar EA frameworks, methods, and modeling tools (ArchiMate, BPMN, UML).
• Technical Integration: Proficiency in principal integration architectural styles and practices (APIs, SOA, EAI, microservices).
• Project & Governance Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/SAFe, PRINCE2, and IT governance frameworks.
• Language Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Dutch (English is a strong asset).
