Job summary

IMEC in Leuven, Belgium, invites an Equipment Integration Software Engineer to join our Smart Fab team. You will work with developers, analysts, and mentors to build a modern CIM application landscape and help establish in-house development for the Equipment Integration platform.

You will start by configuring existing modules, then develop clones, expand to new equipment types, and contribute to testing with emulators and real hardware.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development for hardware automation.
• Experience with Java OOP.
• Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Configure existing equipment controller software modules.
• Develop clones of software modules for the same equipment type.
• Develop equipment controller software for new equipment types.
• Interface with the Equipment Integration platform and internal teams.
• Participate in equipment model testing with emulators and hardware.
