Vivid Resourcing Ltd is seeking an experienced Freelance Engineering Manager to lead and coordinate multiple engineering workstreams on a large-scale industrial project in Belgium. The role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of industrial installations, and tight collaboration with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Engineering (Industrial or Civil) and demonstrates proven experience managing complex projects, planning, budgeting

• Proven experience coordinating complex engineering projects within an industrial or production environment.
• Strong technical understanding of industrial installations and engineering processes.
• Experience with project planning, budget monitoring and coordinating multiple technical stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive, structured approach with the ability to maintain oversight of several parallel workstreams.
• Good command of Dutch and English. Candidates who speak English only will also be considered.

Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Engineering Manager to support a large-scale industrial project within a complex production environment.

You will be responsible for coordinating multiple engineering workstreams, ensuring that technical activities are aligned with the overall project objectives, and keeping planning, budgets and execution on track.

The project involves a combination of new installations and modifications to existing infrastructure, requiring close collaboration between engineers, contractors, suppliers and other technical stakeholders.

Your Profile

• Proven experience coordinating complex engineering projects within an industrial or production environment.
• Strong technical understanding of industrial installations and engineering processes.
• Experience with project planning, budget monitoring and coordinating multiple technical stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• A proactive, structured approach with the ability to maintain oversight of several parallel workstreams.
• Good command of Dutch and English. Candidates who speak English only will also be considered.

Practical Details

• Freelance contract with a competitive daily rate.
• On-site presence required five days per week
• Quick availability is preferred.
