Faubourg Mobility seeks a senior engineering leader to head UFM, the platform replacing five legacy systems across six countries. You will stay hands-on while growing a lean, AI-native organisation from the founding team to a programme of about 30 people.

Your mandate includes architecture decisions, building the platform pod, defining engineering standards, and driving integration of coding agents to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering, with 4+ years leading teams.
• Experience scaling an engineering organisation while keeping teams lean.
• Experience shipping with coding agents as part of delivery.

Responsabilités

• Lead the engineering of UFM platform and scale to ~30 people.
• Deliver hands-on work initially: architecture decisions, code, and technical calls.
• Design and grow the pod topology and ownership structure.
• Own engineering standards: reviews, ADRs, testing strategy, CI/CD.
• Shape engineering practice group-wide and instrument legacy estates with AI.
• Arbitrate velocity against foundations and present progress to executives.
