Job summary

ScioTeq Ltd in Belgium seeks an Engineer Software to own and drive our test software ecosystem. You will hands-on develop, maintain and automate eTest software, collaborating with PEI and R&D to meet product and test requirements.

You bring a Master’s degree in Engineering, strong C#/NET skills, MSSQL reporting, and a proactive, communicative mindset to ensure timely, high‑quality results in a hybrid work setup with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (electronics background is an advantage) or equivalent by experience.
• Experience in software development, test automation, industrialisation, or similar technical field.
• Strong know‑how of C#, NET 4.7, NET 8+, Visual Studio.
• Proficiency in MSSQL, database structures, and reporting tools.
• Experience with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Razor, CSS).
• Familiarity with hardware communication protocols such as SCPI, Serial, LXI, Ethernet, …
• Know-how in optics, mechanics, or visualisation techniques is a strong plus.
• Clear and confident communicator who can collaborate with R&D, production and engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills, with fluent English and Dutch for documentation and reporting.
• Pro-active, structured and quality-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• You provide e-test software support to Product Engineering & Industrialisation (PEI).
• You implement new features and improvements in eTest to support evolving product and test requirements.
• You fine‑tune newly developed tools such as run automation, EPX drivers, and other test automation modules.
• You develop and maintain database reporting, including SPC dashboards and automated data flows.
• You ensure that timelines, cost and quality expectations are met.
• You ensure software development follows company quality system and relevant internal procedures and policies.
• You report to the Industrialisation Manager.

As Engineer Software you are a hands‑on, solution driven engineer with a strong affinity for both software development and industrial test environments.

Your Responsibilities
