Fluxys Belgium is seeking a Transport Study Engineer (m/f/x) to develop and simulate long-term supply, demand, and transit scenarios up to 2050 for CH4, H2 and CO₂ networks. You will assess capacity needs and propose network investments, including repurposing existing infrastructure for new gases.

You will coordinate with adjacent transmission operators and participate in ENTSOG working groups, translating analyses into clear insights for stakeholders and decision-makers.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking.
• Interest in energy topics.
• Fluent in French and/or Dutch, with English proficiency.
• Experience with data visualization and programming recommended.

Responsabilités

• Forecast capacity needs for CH4, H2 and CO₂ using historical data and statistics.
• Model supply-demand scenarios up to 2050 with market inputs.
• Simulate network flows to identify bottlenecks and propose investments.
• Coordinate with adjacent transmission system operators for cross-border alignment.
• Prepare concise presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in ENTSOG groups and energy-transition initiatives.
