Fluxys Belgium is seeking a Transport Study Engineer (m/f/x) to develop and simulate long-term supply, demand, and transit scenarios up to 2050 for CH4, H2 and CO₂ networks. You will assess capacity needs and propose network investments, including repurposing existing infrastructure for new gases.
You will coordinate with adjacent transmission operators and participate in ENTSOG working groups, translating analyses into clear insights for stakeholders and decision-makers.
Infrastructure Capacity Planning (ICP) is responsible for the determination of Fluxys Belgium’s gas transport capacity at global and local level, both for natural gas and new gases, and the carrying out of network development studies. The department is amongst others responsible for the yearly release of Fluxys Belgium’s Ten-year Network Development Plan (TYNDP).

You develop and simulate long-term supply, demand, and transit scenarios up to 2050 to assess the transport capacity of the CH4, H2 and CO₂ network. You actively participate in ENTSOG capacity-related working groups and engage in discussions with European transmission system operators to ensure cross-border alignment.
