European Macro Policy Network (EMPN) seeks a Senior Economic Policy Analyst - Energy Policy to strengthen its Brussels team and shape debates on financing the energy and climate transition. You will work with the Managing Director and network members, drawing on EU institutions, think tanks, and public administration experience to deliver rigorous analysis and strategic outreach.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in energy/economic policy or related fields.
• Strong academic training with advanced degree in economics, engineering, finance, EU affairs, law or related discipline.
• Excellent English writing and ability to produce policy briefs for policymakers.

Responsabilités

• Content production: write impactful policy briefs on energy/climate topics and engage in outreach with policymakers and think tanks.
• Network coordination: lead cross-network coordination, set priorities, shape proposals, and drive policy initiatives.
• Support: assist Managing Director with outreach, publications, events, and project development.
