Pauwels Consulting is seeking an energy market analyst to quantify and monitor flexibility resources, including storage and demand response, to improve long-term projections for grid planning. The role combines data analytics, machine learning, and stakeholder interviews to translate insights into strategic recommendations and technical tool requirements for cross-functional teams in the energy sector.

Competenze

Experience analyzing large energy datasets with statistical methods and ML.
Knowledge of electricity markets and energy sector.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Gather and analyze information on system flexibility across various technologies and voltage levels.
Develop and execute research strategies to retrieve data through desktop research and stakeholder interviews.
Conduct data analysis on smart metering time series using statistical methods and machine learning techniques.
Translate analytical insights into strategic recommendations, clear presentations, and technical tool requirements.
Manage the project lifecycle of the flexibility initiative, including scope, timing, and resource tracking.
Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure program objectives align with overall strategic goals.
