Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Geel seeks an EMS Expert – Projects to lead and support EMS-related projects, change controls and compliance initiatives within the Geel site’s utilities and clean rooms.

You will act as a content expert for cross-functional projects and advise on quality and compliance impact, partnering with QA, Operations, Engineering & Property Services and QC laboratories to deliver safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Master's diploma in microbiology, biotechnology, (bio)chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or equivalent by experience.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating improvement initiatives in a GMP environment.
• Thorough knowledge of cGMP regulations and relevant standards (FDA, EU GMP, ISO).
• Knowledge of microbiology and experience in pharmaceutical production and QA/QC/GMP compliance is an asset.
• Excellent collaboration and communication with stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Act as EMS expert and central contact for cross-functional projects and site initiatives ensuring continuity and compliant execution.
• Lead and support improvement initiatives related to safety, compliance, quality and operational performance.
• Review and execute change controls and related qualification documentation for equipment/building changes.
• Lead investigations, advise on quality impact and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Contribute to GMP inspections and audits and ensure timely follow-up of findings.

Functiebeschrijving

De site van Johnson & Johnson in Geel is de grootste chemische productiesite voor small molecule Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API's) binnen de wereldwijde supply chain. De site speelt een cruciale rol in het veilig en efficiënt leveren van levensreddende geneesmiddelen en ondersteunt tegelijkertijd de introductie van nieuwe farmaceutische producten.

De EMS (Environmental Monitoring Systems) groep is verantwoordelijk voor de monitoring en het beheer van de kwaliteitsaspecten voor nutsvoorzieningen (water, stoom, stikstof, perslucht) en omgeving in geclassificeerde clean rooms (lucht, oppervlakken, personeel, reiniging/desinfectie). Dit voor de volgende area’s

• Farmaceutische productieafdelingen en ondersteunende afdelingen: Productie plants API’s en Drug Product intermediates, Magazijnen en Mobiele Equipment
• Farmaceutische productontwikkelingsafdelingen
• QC Labo

Als EMS Deskundige Projects ben je verantwoordelijk voor het leiden en ondersteunen van projecten, change controls en compliance- en verbeterinitiatieven binnen het EMS-domein voor de Geel site. Je fungeert als inhoudelijk expert voor cross-functionele projecten en adviseert over kwaliteits- en compliance-impact. Je draagt bij aan een veilige, efficiënte en conforme werking van de chemische en farmaceutische productieomgeving en nutsvoorzieningen, waarbij kwaliteit, GMP-compliance, veiligheid en samenwerking centraal staan.

Je maakt deel uit van een breder EMS team binnen Johnson & Johnson en werkt nauw samen met collega’s op de Beerse site. Hierdoor krijg je de kans om mee te werken aan site-overstijgende projecten, expertise uit te wisselen en bij te dragen aan de verdere harmonisatie van processen en compliance binnen de organisatie.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Fungeren als EMS deskundige en centraal aanspreekpunt voor cross-functionele projecten en site initiatieven waarbij continuïteit, duidelijke prioriteiten en conforme uitvoering worden gegarandeerd.
• Leiden en ondersteunen van verbeterinitiatieven die bijdragen aan veiligheid, compliance, kwaliteit en operationele prestaties.
• Beoordelen en uitvoeren van change controls en bijhorende kwalificatie-documentatie i.v.m. equipmentaanpassingen, gebouwaanpassingen, ...
• Leiden en ondersteunen van onderzoeken bij incidenten, adviseren m.b.t. mogelijke kwaliteitsimpact en definiëren en tijdig implementeren van effectieve correctieve en preventieve acties.
• Bijdragen aan GMP-inspecties en audits, en zorgen voor een tijdige opvolging van bevindingen en het realiseren van continue verbeteringen.
• Beheren van kritische GMP-documentatie, inclusief de interpretatie en beoordeling van EMS-gerelateerde documenten en dossiers.
• Kwaliteitsbewust handelen in overeenstemming met de (inter)nationale cGMP richtlijnen.

• Opbouwen en onderhouden van sterke, betrouwbare relaties met belangrijke interne en externe stakeholders, waaronder Quality Assurance, Operations, Engineering & Property Services en QC-laboratoria.

• Bevorderen van een cultuur van veiligheid, kwaliteit, samenwerking en verantwoordelijkheid, in lijn met de waarden van de organisatie. Onze Credo actief uitdragen.

Vereisten

· Masterdiploma in microbiologie, biotechnologie, (bio)chemie, farmaceutische wetenschappen of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.

· Ervaring met het leiden van projecten en het coördineren van verbeterinitiatieven in een GMP-omgeving.

· Grondige kennis van cGMP-regelgeving en relevante industriestandaarden (FDA, EU GMP, ISO, enz.).

· Kennis van microbiologie, ervaring binnen een farmaceutische productieomgeving en ervaring binnen een farmaceutische kwaliteitsorganisatie (QA, QC of GMP-compliance) zijn een sterke troef.

· Uitstekende samenwerkings- en communicatieve vaardigheden, met het vermogen om effectief samen te werken met verschillende stakeholders binnen de organisatie.

· Sterke organisatorische vaardigheden met een proactieve houding en een sterk gevoel voor eigenaarschap.

· Flexibel voor ondersteuning bij geplande shutdown- en onderhoudsactiviteiten.

· Vloeiend in Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk.

Anticipated base pay range for this position is:

€60,000.00 - €96,255.00
