The Aftersales Operational Lead supports the Aftersales & Maintenance Manager and is responsible for leading the team of Aftersales Service Coordinators while overseeing their day-to-day operations. The role ensures effective monitoring and supervision of the charging network, alignment across service coordination activities, management of escalations, and collaboration with service partners and OEMs. In addition, the Aftersales Operational Lead drives the identification and implementation of structural improvements to address recurring issues and enhance operational efficiency, working closely with both the Aftersales Manager and the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of 4 eMobility service coordinators
- Ensure continuous monitoring of the charging network.
- Coordinate the daily operational activities of the aftersales coordinators, including daily stand-ups, operational alignment, priority setting and backlog follow-up.
- Act as a liaison between coordinators, Maintenance Engineers, OEMs and service partners on critical operational issues.
- Translate recurring operational problems into concrete improvement actions together with the Maintenance Engineer and Aftersales & Maintenance Manager .
- Take ownership of escalations, critical HSEQ and SLA risks.
- Manage field service partners on operational performance, intervention quality, SLA compliance, etc.
- Manage the operational reporting (network supervision, partner performance, costs & invoice validation, stock management) in order to steer operational priorities and improvement actions.
- Act as a back-up of Aftersales Service Coordinators.
- Formalize procedures.
Purposes of the job:
- Improve operational control of the aftersales activities by managing a team of Service Coordinators and their daily priorities and structured follow-up.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement by translating operational issues lead into concrete actions and measurable progress.
- Increase the charging network's availability by challenging the partner's performance (Field Service Partners, EOMs, etc).
- Improve SLA compliance and reduce backlog through active steering of coordinators, partners and open actions.
- Increase customer satisfaction through consistent communication, fast follow-up and improved service quality of his/her team.
- Languages: English, French and Dutch.
- Master degree in a technical field (engineering, electrical engineering, electromechanics, automation or equivalent).
- Minimum 6 of relevant experience in operational service management, preferably in a technical, infrastructure, energy, mobility or field service environment.
- Structured, autonomous and decision-oriented, with the ability to create clarity in complex operational situations.
- Service-minded and result-oriented.
