OneSpan in Belgium is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated and manual testing solutions for our hardware products, combining test automation with embedded software validation.

The role involves building test strategies, test harnesses, and HIL infrastructure, using Python to drive tests on STM32-based targets, and collaborating with software and firmware teams to ensure robust quality.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience testing software, firmware or embedded systems.
Experience with Python-based automation and test frameworks.
Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
Fluent English and strong analytical skills.

Responsabilités

Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test cases and frameworks so products meet functional requirements and design specifications.
Build and maintain automated test infrastructure, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups, test fixtures and harnesses for embedded devices.
Develop Python-based automation for device control, test execution, data collection, validation and reporting.
Execute manual and automated functional, integration, regression, performance, stress, endurance and reliability tests on physical devices and software.
Create repeatable test cases and acceptance criteria that maximise functional and system-level coverage, and help define test strategies for new features.
Maintain automated regression suites and integrate hardware-based testing into CI/CD pipelines where appropriate.
