Job summary

Médiane Benelux is expanding its project teams and seeks a Systems Architect to secure the overall system architecture amid highly demanding real-time, embedded, and regulatory constraints.

You will define architecture, structure requirements, and support teams through delivery of complex, safety-critical systems while ensuring consistency across hardware and software components.

Qualifications

• Industry experience in systems architecture for industrial environments.
• Strong grasp of real-time embedded hardware-software integration.
• Experience working in regulated or safety-critical contexts is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the overall system architecture (functional and technical).
• Structure and analyze system requirements using appropriate tools.

Job Description

As part of the expansion of the project teams of a major industrial player, we are looking for a Systems Architect able to work in highly demanding technical environments with strong real-time, embedded, and regulatory constraints.

Position Objective

To secure the overall system architecture, structure requirements, and support project teams in the delivery of complex, safety-critical systems.

Your Mission

• Define, consolidate, and maintain the system architecture (functional and technical)
• Analyse and structure system requirements (using tools such as Rectify, ReqSuits, or equivalent)
• Ensure consistency between hardware, software, and real-time constraints
• Support development and validation teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in key technical decision-making
• Contribute to technical documentation and architecture reviews
• Work closely with project teams and internal stakeholders

Profile / Requirements

• Proven experience in industrial systems architecture
• Strong understanding of real-time embedded systems
• Solid expertise in hardware/software integration

Experience In Requirements Management And Traceability

• Ability to technically challenge solutions and structure complex projects
• Rigorous, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset
• Experience in a standardised, regulated, or critical environment is a strong asset
