Médiane Benelux is seeking engineers to contribute to mission-critical embedded software for railway signaling projects, including ERTMS. You will join an international team, shaping software for the trains of tomorrow.

You will define software specifications, support development processes, and collaborate with rail system experts in a highly regulated industry. Fluent English and French are required.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Software, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar).
• Minimum 3 years of software development experience with C/C++ and/or Linux environments.
• Leadership experience or strong interest.
• Fluent in English and French.

You will be part of an international and dynamic team, contributing to the development of mission-critical embedded systems for major railway signaling projects, including ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System).

Your Responsibilities

• Participating in the definition of software specifications and architecture in collaboration with rail system experts.
• Defining and managing technical specifications and subsystem requirements.
• Supporting and contributing to the development processes, tools, and methods.
• Providing technical support to the integration team.
• Actively contributing to the development of software for tomorrow's transportation systems.

Profile / Requirements

Your Profile – Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Software, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development with C/C++ and/or working in Linux environments.
• Prior experience or a strong interest in taking on a leadership role.
• Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.

Nice To Have

• Knowledge of ERTMS Level 2 is a strong asset.
• Previous experience in leadership roles, particularly in railway signaling systems, automotive, aerospace, or avionics.
• Familiarity with version control systems (ideally Git or GitLab).
• Strong engineering fundamentals: graph reading, SI units, kinematics, etc.
