Job summary

Kineton seeks an Embedded Software Integration Test Engineer to advance verification and validation for hybrid powertrain embedded software. You will define DVPs, craft and execute integration test plans, and validate interfaces between BSW and ASW, ensuring traceability to requirements and architecture.

Proficiency in C/C++, experience with Lauterbach TRACE32, and familiarity with CAN/XCP/UDS are essential. English communication and a collaborative mindset complete the profile.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded software integration testing and microcontroller concepts.
• Solid understanding of ASPICE SWE.5 integration testing and AUTOSAR SWE.2.
• Practical use of Lauterbach TRACE32 for tracing and debugging embedded software.
• Strong C/C++ reading and analysis skills for embedded software under test.
• Familiarity with CAN, XCP and UDS automotive communication protocols.

Responsibilities

• Define DVPs for software integration testing (ASPICE SWE.5).
• Define and execute integration test strategy and plan.
• Design tests to validate interfaces between BSW and ASW components.
• Traceability to requirements and software architecture.
• Automate test cases where applicable and report defects.
• Support test setups and contribute to process improvements.
