Smarterminds in Belgium is seeking an experienced Software Architect to design and develop embedded software architecture for display modules and driving boards. You will collaborate with requirements engineers and function owners, understand hardware functionality, and take ownership of sub-projects.

The role requires 4+ years in embedded software architecture, strong C++, experience in automotive, and knowledge of ASPICE, Jenkins, and version control.

Qualificações

• Bachelor or Master in Electronics or Computer Science.
• Minimum 4 years as a software architect for embedded systems.
• Experience in the automotive sector.
• Hands-on experience in C++ and communication protocols.
• Familiar with Assembly or sequencer instruction sets.
• Knowledge of Keil uVision IDE and uPro Debugger.
• Experience with Jenkins and ASPICE processes.
• Strong knowledge of electronic designs.
• European-based and willing to relocate to Belgium.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with requirements engineers and function owners to design and develop embedded software architecture for display modules and driving boards.
• Understand hardware functionality and create structured software designs following internal procedures.
• Own assigned sub-projects with a proactive, results-driven approach.
• Direct technical and conceptual communication with customers.
• Contribute to defining the department's technical roadmap and drive continuous improvement.
