Thales is seeking an Embedded Software Integrator and Validator to ensure quality and compliance of embedded software solutions. You will focus on integration, verification, and validation of components, collaborating with software and hardware teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
• Preferably 3 years in embedded software integration, verification or development.
• Hands‑on experience with embedded software integration and testing (automated and manual).
• Proficiency in C/C++, Rust, scripting (Python, Bash), and debugging tools (JTAG, GDB).
• Familiarity with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) and Linux.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams (software, hardware, systems).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken); French or Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Integrate embedded software components into target systems (e.g., microcontrollers or embedded Linux).
• Ensure correct interaction between software modules.
• Design and execute verification tests to ensure software components meet their specifications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Collaborate with developers to analyze root causes and verify fixes.
• Develop and operate tools for automated testing and result analysis to support efficient test processes.
• Actively drive the continuous improvement of test automation and toolchains.
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments, participating in sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for embedded software.
• Contribute to process improvements in testing methodologies, tools, or automation (e.g., Python, Robot Framework).
