Job summary

Médiane Benelux is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to strengthen its engineering teams in the automotive sector. You will work in a highly technical environment on advanced software solutions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and maintain embedded software.

Requirements include a degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of embedded software experience, with AUTOSAR configuration, ASPICE familiarity, and strong communication in

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software systems.
• Experience with AUTOSAR configuration.
• Familiarity with automotive development standards (ASPICE).
• Good understanding of software architecture principles.
• Experience with static and dynamic code analysis.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Ability to produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Fluent in English.

You will work in a highly technical environment, at the heart of critical systems, in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, develop, and document software functionalities
• Develop new software components and maintain existing products
• Work closely with the Software Verification & Validation (V&V) team to define test specifications and write test cases
• Collaborate with system and application software teams to solve complex technical challenges
• Assist in diagnosing and resolving software-related issues

Profile / Requirements

Profile

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In Embedded Software Development

• Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software systems
• Experience with AUTOSAR configuration
• Familiarity with automotive development standards (e.g., ASPICE)
• Good understanding of software architecture principles
• Experience with static and dynamic code analysis
• Experience working in Agile environments

Technical Skills (Nice to have)

• Experience with Vector tools
• Experience with Vector AUTOSAR stack

Knowledge Of

• ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)
• ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity)
• Experience with architectures such as STLA Brain
• Expertise in bootloader design and HSM firmware
