Job summary

Kidde Global Solutions is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to develop secure firmware for security devices in embedded environments. You will work with hardware, cybersecurity, and product teams to move concepts to mass production.

Required qualifications include a degree in a related field and 3+ years in embedded firmware with C and ARM Cortex-M. Relocation support and global collaboration opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in software/ electronics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of embedded firmware experience.
• Strong C programming skills and ARM Cortex-M experience.
• Experience with bare-metal or RTOS-based development and debugging tools.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and embedded protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware for wired and wireless security devices in C.
• Collaborate with hardware, cybersecurity and product teams across the lifecycle.
• Implement secure communication and firmware update mechanisms.
• Optimize performance, memory, and power usage.
• Support validation, certification, and manufacturing activities.
