Job summary

DW Reusables is seeking a Mechanical Technician for the Bilzen production facility, where we manufacture beverage crates and related equipment. You will maintain injection moulding machines with integrated robots, production lines, and related machinery to keep performance at peak levels.

You will work day shifts in a 24/7 operation and apply your electromechanics and maintenance skills to quickly diagnose and fix issues, while contributing ideas to optimise procedures and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (electromechanics preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent command of Dutch — speaking, reading, and writing.
• Solid knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Hands-on mentality: you enjoy rolling up your sleeves.
• Strong sense of responsibility and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Work day shift during the week in support of a 24/7 production operation.
• Resolve electrical and mechanical issues: from replacing motors and hydraulic hoses to adjusting robots and automatic stacking machines.
• Tackle problems hands-on — you don't sit back and wait.
• Contribute ideas for improving and optimising work procedures.
