Solvay is seeking an Electrochemical Engineer Intern to join the Breakthrough Innovation team in Brussels. You will work on innovative electrochemical processes to develop hydrogen peroxide production and contribute to process development under supervision.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on laboratory work, and data analysis, with an expectation to deliver results and communicate findings to the project leader. This is an onsite internship starting in Oct/Nov for six months.

Qualifications

• English proficiency required.
• Knowledge of chemical-engineering principles and thermodynamics.
• Good knowledge of lab equipment and laboratory practices.

Responsabilités

• Follow HSE rules and housekeeping practices.
• Contribute to lab safety for personnel and facilities.
• Conduct electrochemical-synthesis experiments with care and timeliness.
• Use analytical techniques to monitor reactions.
• Summarize results and present them to the project leader.
