JLL seeks a Technician Electrician to coordinate and perform maintenance activities, electrical works, small repairs, moves and logistics across the client portfolio. You will ensure supplier and sub-contractor compliance with HSSE and Safe System of Work.

Key responsibilities include hands-on electrical tasks, supervising contractors, and contributing to preventive maintenance programs while maintaining collaboration with the Facility Management team.

Qualifications

• Certified electrician with formal qualifications and relevant licenses.
• Multilingual communication skills: English, French and Dutch.
• Versatile hands-on experience in small engineering tasks and building systems.

Role Summary

The Technician plays a crucial role in coordinating and facilitating and performing maintenance activities, electrical works, small repairs, moves and logistics, ensuring supplier and sub-contractor compliance with HSSE and Safe System of Work across the client's portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

General Operative Activities

• Perform electrical works across the client's portfolio
• Execute small mechanical repair works including basic plumbing, electrical, and equipment fixes.
• Conduct porterage services for deliveries, equipment transport, and material handling throughout the facility.

Maintenance Coordination and Management

• Escort and brief engineers and supplier maintenance staff where required.
• Contributes to improvements for preventive maintenance programmes on an on-going basis.
• Contributes to maintenance of effective Asset specific maintenance and safety procedure manuals and ensures compliance.
• Coordinates maintenance efforts with outside contractors, tenant finish personnel and engineers.

Building Systems Oversight

• Contributes to overseeing of all building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC and electrical issues.
• Conducts regular inspections of operating mechanical, electrical and equipment systems; recommends and oversees necessary adjustments to operating equipment and controls.
• Administers all equipment and construction warranties with respect to defect liability period.

Emergency Response and Customer Service

• Responds quickly to emergency situations (i.e. fire, evacuation, equipment failure, etc.) and customer concerns.
• Assists in maintenance/engineering issues as required.
• Be adaptable and flexible to assist the client when required.

Administrative and Compliance Functions

• Implements and administers inventory control programs/purchase parts and supplies.
• Ensures compliance with applicable codes, regulations, government agency and company directives as relates to building operations.

Continuous Improvement and Collaboration

• Contributes to implementing of preventive maintenance programs and recommending improvements to existing programs on an on-going basis.
• Collaborate with the wider team to identify opportunities for improving technical service delivery and enhancing the workplace service experience.
• Strive for continuous improvement by implementing service enhancements, reducing utility usage, increasing productivity, and delivering efficiencies.

Skills and Experience

• Certified electrician
• English and French/Dutch are required
• Appropriate handyperson/small engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Preventive/Reactive Maintenance.
• Knowledge of Building Systems as well as effective troubleshooting techniques.
• Ability to supervise and evaluate the work of assigned contractors.
• A thorough understanding of all safety and environmental concerns as they relate to the equipment and the overall property portfolio.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in using systems such as BMS (Preferred) and other computerized control/monitoring systems, including CMMS.
• Team player, works closely with technical colleagues managed by the Facility Management team
