Electrical QA Inspector

Location: Mons, Belgium

We are seeking an Electrical QA Inspector to support the delivery of high-quality electrical fit‑out works on a fast-paced, technically demanding project. This role is suited to someone detail-focused, highly organised, and confident in ensuring full compliance with project specifications and quality standards from installation through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an Electrical QA Inspector who will:

• Implement and maintain project quality systems in line with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Develop and maintain quality plans, procedures, manuals, and QA documentation.
• Ensure client quality requirements are correctly submitted, approved, and implemented within agreed timelines.
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and continuous quality checks on electrical installations.
• Verify works including containment, cabling, and terminations in line with inspection and test plans.
• Attend and coordinate inspections, benchmarking, and walkdowns with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate QA records, including “Right First Time” documentation and inspection reports.
• Ensure all certification and documentation is complete prior to system and area handover.
• Support document control, ensuring records are updated in line with ISO requirements and project changes.
• Report QA performance and issues directly to the Project Manager.
• Attend weekly site meetings and support coordination with project teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure QA/QC procedures are consistently applied across all site activities.
• Support system and area handover to the client in line with project requirements.
• Carry out audits and provide recommendations to improve quality performance.
• Perform any other duties required to support project delivery.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates with:

• A relevant electrical qualification (third level or professional).
• 3 years’ experience in QA inspections on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience with site walkdowns and inspection & test plans.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and documentation control.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
