Job summary

Lybover bv is seeking an Electrical Engineer to own the electrical scope of turnkey installations and drive coordination with mechanical engineering teams. You will prepare I/O lists, review cabling schedules, and ensure PLC architectures meet project goals.

With a master’s degree and 5+ years of experience, you will lead contacts with electrical partners, guide technical designers, and monitor progress to delivery. An entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electrical engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years of relevant project experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and analyze installations.
• Strong communication with project managers and stakeholders.
• BA5 certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical side of projects, from preparing I/O lists and reviewing cabling schedules to PLC architectures.
• Coordinate technical solutions with cabinet builders and electrical engineers.
• Lead electrical partner contacts and ensure on-time completion of installations.
• Monitor progress to ensure execution aligns with plan.
• Translate functional descriptions into the electrical and automation strategy and support startup phases.
• Coordinate actions with the project engineer and the technical designer.
• Report to the Head of Projects.

Job description

• Together with your direct colleague and the mechanical engineering team, you are building turnkey installations. Your role is getting the electrical aspect working.
• You take ownership of the electrical side of our projects, from preparing I/O lists, reviewing cabling schedules and PLC architectures to writing functional descriptions and coordinating technical solutions with cabinet builders and electrical engineers.
• You provide instructions to technical designers for drawing up electrical layout plans and ensure smooth communication with all parties involved.
• You will take the lead in contacting electrical partners. You will guide them to ensure that the electrical installations are completed correctly and on time
• You monitor the progress of electrical implementation and ensure everything runs according to plan.
• You translate functional descriptions for the installations to the electrical and automation strategy and provide support during the startup phase of projects.
• You have a central role in the project, where you coordinate your actions together with the project engineer and the technical designer.
• You report to the Head of Projects.

Are you the Electrical Engineer we’re looking for?

• You hold a master’s degree, preferably in electrical engineering.
• You have at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the project world.
• You have excellent knowledge of electricity, including the ability to read electrical schematics, PLC knowledge and the ability to analyze installations.
• You are communicative and able to collaborate with project managers and various stakeholders.
• You have a pragmatic, entrepreneurial mindset and are able to take responsibility and make decisions.
• You enjoy networking, establishing contacts with external partners, and coordinating activities.
• You hold a BA5 certification
