Job summary

Akkodis Belgium is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the project delivery team for a pharmaceutical client. You will act as the dedicated electrical SPOC, defining electrical requirements, reviewing supplier offers and leading on LV distribution, switchboards and protection systems across belgian sites.

Fluency in French, BA5 certification and strong knowledge of RGIE/ATEX are required. The role offers a permanent contract, competitive package and career development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent required.
• Solid experience in industrial electrical engineering and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of LV distribution, protections, switchboards, backups and earthing.
• Familiarity with Belgian regulations RGIE; ATEX knowledge is a plus.
• Experience writing specifications, reviewing technical studies and managing suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Define electrical requirements with Project Leader and end users; write specifications and launch RFQs.
• Analyse supplier offers for compliance and and recommend maintainable solutions.
• Follow up on-site execution and manage deviations with contractors.
• Coordinate with Construction Manager on HSE and site management topics; liaise with client's internal electrical team for approvals.
• Design and oversee LV distribution systems, switchboards, MCCs, lighting, earthing and safety installations.
• Perform or challenge studies: power balance, short-circuit analyses, Arc Flash.
• Review drawings, calculations, dossiers and supplier docs for quality and compliance.
• Prepare regulatory inspections; ensure dossiers and punch lists are closed before visit.
• Ensure compliance with RGIE, ATEX, IEC/EN standards and GMP/GxP.
• Provide electrical support to utilities, HVAC and automation engineers; assist Change Controls, FAT, SAT and commissioning.
• Coordinate interfaces with multiple teams and suppliers.
