Qualifications

• Bachelorf s or Mastera0s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 46 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
• Strong knowledge of EPLAN (mandatory).
• Experience in electrical design and process automation.
• Understanding of electrical safety procedures, engineering processes, and quality standards.

• Design and develop electrical solutions based on customer specifications.
• Create, modify, and maintain electrical schematics and technical documentation using EPLAN.
• Evaluate technical alternatives, identify risks, and propose suitable engineering solutions.
• Perform design reviews and risk analyses to ensure quality and safety.
• Support production teams by resolving technical issues and providing engineering expertise.
• Validate engineering deliverables for consistency and quality.

Job Description

At Amaris Consulting, we are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join one of our clients in the industrial engineering sector. In this role, you will transform customer requirements into tailored electrical solutions for compressors, dryers, and related equipment. Working in an international environment, you will contribute to the design of reliable, safe, and high-quality electrical systems while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical solutions based on customer specifications.
• Create, modify, and maintain electrical schematics and technical documentation using EPLAN.
• Evaluate technical alternatives, identify risks, and propose the most suitable engineering solutions.
• Perform design reviews and risk analyses to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Support production teams by resolving technical issues and providing engineering expertise.
• Validate engineering deliverables to ensure consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with suppliers, purchasing teams, and internal stakeholders to optimize technical solutions.
• Support the quotation team by translating customer specifications into machine requirements and selecting appropriate electrical components.
• Contribute to product standardization and centralized engineering data management within the Global Engineering team.
• Promote continuous improvement through technological innovation and process optimization.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering, or a related field.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in electrical design engineering.
• Strong knowledge of EPLAN (mandatory).
• Experience in electrical design and process automation.
• Good understanding of electrical safety procedures, engineering processes, and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently while taking initiative and ownership.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Passion for technology and continuous improvement.
• Positive, open‑minded, and collaborative team player with an interest in working in an international environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Dutch is a strong asset.
