Unique is looking for an EHS Manager to join a company in the Wevelgem region. You will lead environmental, health and safety programs across the business, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations.

Key duties include planning and conducting audits, delivering EHS trainings, approving new equipment from an EHS perspective, and maintaining a zero-accident culture through proactive risk reduction and staff involvement. You may fulfill deputy roles as required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure, verify and improve EHS compliance with internal and external requirements including a system of regular audits; closely monitor new statutory regulations or requirements from Corporate.
• Initiate and conduct training activities to enhance EHS awareness and ensure correct reporting in Safeguard system
• Ensure legal requirements are being followed and regular meetings are conducted with the appropriate team
• Review and approval of new equipment regarding EHS
• Leading a safety-first approach maintaining a zero-accident culture. Ensure and monitor work, accident prevention and safe working environment across the business
• Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business
