Job summary

Sectr Partners Limited seeks an EHS Manager to drive safety and compliance across Benelux operations. You will lead EHS programs, maintain management systems, and support water treatment projects from design through commissioning.

Fluent Dutch and English are required, with knowledge of Belgian/Dutch legislation. The role involves training, audits, incident investigations and strong stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior EHS role within industrial/service settings.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian and/or Dutch EHS legislation.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and/or VCA.
• Familiar with RAMS, HAZOP and Safety by Design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Promote and strengthen the EHS culture across Benelux operations.
• Maintain and improve EHS management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, VCA).
• Ensure compliance with EHS legislation and internal policies.
• Provide EHS support for water treatment projects from design to commissioning.
• Advise on risk assessments, RAMS, HAZOP and site safety.
• Lead safety inspections, audits, incidents and safety meetings.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programmes.
• Monitor incidents, near misses and EHS performance; report accurately.
• Oversee PPE requirements and related documentation.
• Act as the key EHS contact for service activities and customer requirements.

Our client is an international provider of industrial water treatment solutions, with a strong focus on sustainability, operational excellence and safety. They are seeking an EHS Manager to support operations and projects across the Benelux region.

Job Responsibilities

• Promote and strengthen the EHS culture across Benelux operations.
• Maintain and improve EHS management systems, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and VCA.
• Ensure compliance with applicable EHS legislation and internal policies.
• Provide EHS support for water treatment projects, from design through to commissioning.
• Advise operational teams on risk assessments, HAZOP, RAMS and site safety.
• Lead safety inspections, audits, incident investigations and safety meetings.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programmes.
• Monitor incidents, near misses and EHS performance, ensuring accurate reporting.
• Oversee PPE requirements and related documentation.
• Act as the key EHS contact for service activities and customer requirements.

Candidate Criteria

• Proven experience in a similar EHS management role, ideally within an industrial or service environment.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian and/or Dutch EHS legislation.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is an advantage.
• Experience with EHS management systems, particularly ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and/or VCA.
• Knowledge of safety methodologies such as RAMS, HAZOP and Safety by Design.
• Experience delivering EHS training is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in an international corporate environment is a plus.
