AECOM is seeking a junior-mid EHS Consultant to provide environmental and health & safety advice for a government project in the Mons/Bergen region of Belgium. You will support senior colleagues in drafting EHS procedures, maintaining legal registers, risk assessments, and ISO 14001/45001 implementations, and assist in permit applications.

Requirements include a BSc/MSc in EHS or related field, a diploma in environmental coordination or prevention advisor is a plus, and 0–3 years of experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental, Health & Safety Management, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Diploma in environmental coordination (level A or B) or as a Prevention Advisor (Level 1 or 2) is a strong plus.
• Basic knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is a plus.
• 0–3 years of experience in EHS consulting or related fields.
• Strong communication in English and Dutch/French.

Responsabilités

• Assist senior and mid level EHS Consultants in EHS operational management by drafting and implementing EHS procedures and maintaining legal registers.
• Support in preparing environmental permit applications and liaise with local authorities during permitting.
• Participate in environmental and health and safety compliance audits and prepare audit reports and follow-up actions.
