AECOM is seeking a motivated environmental / health and safety professional to provide EHS advice to our client. As a junior-mid EHS Consultant you will work on a project for a government department in the Mons/Bergen region, Belgium.

You will assist in drafting and implementing EHS procedures, maintaining EHS registers, and supporting ISO 14001/45001 compliance. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety or related field, with 0-3 years’ experience,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental, Health & Safety Management, Environmental Engineering or related field.
Holding a diploma as an environmental coordinator (level A or B) or as a Prevention Advisor (Level 1 or 2) is a strong plus.
Basic knowledge of management systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is a plus).
0–3 years of experience in EHS consulting or related fields; internships or academic projects valued.
Good command of English and Dutch/French, in writing and speaking.

Responsabilités

Assist senior and mid level EHS Consultants in EHS operational management.
Draft and implement EHS procedures and maintain EHS legal registers.
Prepare environmental permit applications and liaise with authorities and stakeholders.
Participate in environmental and health and safety compliance audits and prepare audit reports.
