Balchem Corporation is seeking an Accounting Assistant to join its Finance team in Grimbergen, Belgium. You will handle invoices, journals, month-end closures, VAT returns, and supplier/payable processing, working with ERP systems and Excel in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field and at least five years of experience, with fluent Dutch and English and excellent organizational and communication skills for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office; accurate financial data handling.

Responsabilités

• Process purchase invoices and financial transactions accurately and timely.
• Prepare and post accounting journals and other entries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare VAT returns and Intrastat declarations.
• Manage supplier payments and supplier accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable/payable balances.
• Assist with internal and external audit preparations.
• Handle cash and cash equivalents.
• Perform general financial administration and ad hoc tasks.
