Vertimac is seeking an Accountant to join a young finance team and manage day-to-day accounting, including invoicing in Dutch, French and English, journal updates, and VAT/close processes.

The role emphasizes accuracy, structured work, and growth alongside a evolving D365 environment. A degree in economics is a plus, with flexible hours and hybrid work arrangements.

Are you someone who enjoys working accurately and efficiently, and would you like to do so as part of a young finance team within a fast-growing company?

We are looking for a motivated Accountant who is confident in day-to-day accounting activities and eager to grow alongside our evolving D365 environment.

Your main responsibilities

• Processing purchase and sales invoices in Dutch, French and English
• Updating financial and miscellaneous journals
• Responding to queries received through the accounting mailbox
• Critically reviewing transactions and identifying discrepancies

Supporting the preparation of VAT returns, monthly closings and year-end closings

What we expect from you

• Have gained initial experience in an accounting role
• You work comfortably with digital tools. Experience with Business Central or D365 is a strong plus
• Have a basic knowledge of French and English
• Work accurately, efficiently and in a structured manner

A graduate, bachelor’s or master’s degree in an economic field is a plus
