Job summary

Xeryon, a fast-growing company in Leuven, Belgium, seeks an Electronics Engineer for Drive Systems and Certification. You will design electronic control systems for piezo motors, develop digital/analog circuits, and drive safety and EMC certification efforts in collaboration with third-party labs.

The role involves prototyping, system integration, and continuous improvement to reduce footprint and enhance connectivity across motor systems. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in electronic control system development.
• Experience with Altium and HDI PCB design.
• Interest in safety and EMC certification; external labs a plus.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype electronic control systems for piezo motors, improving electronics across models.
• Develop digital and analog electronics, sensors, and power stages.
• Create schematics and PCB layouts with Altium or KiCad.
• Build and test prototypes; verify design concepts and manufacturability.
• Ensure designs meet IPC-2221, CE, RoHS, EMC requirements and document changes.
• Coordinate drive systems certification and documentation with third-party labs.
• Lead continuous improvement to reduce footprint and improve integration.
• Collaborate with mechanical and software teams for system optimization.
