Traxial, a Magnax company, is seeking a PE & Motor Control Engineer to join our R&D team in Kortrijk, Belgium. You will design, develop and optimize high-efficiency power electronic and motor control systems for robotics and industry.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years in power electronics, inverter and motor controller design, and hands-on PCB/simulation experience. Fluency in English required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Min. 3 years of experience in power electronics and circuit design.
• Strong knowledge of inverters and motor controllers.
• Experience with PCB design tools such as KiCad or Altium.
• Experience with circuit simulation software such as LTSpice.
• Understanding of thermal management and EMC.
• Model-based design and/or FPGA experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and optimize high-efficiency power electronic and motor control systems.
• Create detailed requirements and functional designs for power electronic circuits and motor controllers.
• Perform simulations, testing, and validation to ensure performance meets requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during design, prototyping, and manufacturing phases.
• Ensure products are compliant with standards for power drive systems.
• Stay informed about trends in power electronics for robotics and industrial applications.
