Blood Bank of Delmarva is seeking a Donor Registration Specialist at the Christiana Donor Center/Headquarters in Newark, DE. The role focuses on delivering exemplary customer service to donors, greeting guests warmly, and ensuring efficient donor registration.

The position is full-time with varied shifts and a $1.50/hr differential on weekends. Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and 2+ years of front desk and administrative experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• 2+ years working in a front desk lobby environment greeting customers, the public, and guests.
• 2+ years of administrative support experience.
• 2+ years performing entry of critical data into a computer system.

Responsabilités

• Greet donors and complete registration process according to SOPs, offering best-in-class customer service to minimize wait times.
• Reschedule registered donors for future appointments per daily goals.
• Educate donors about our mission and the importance of repeat donation to aid recruitment and retention.
• Answer inbound calls and route to designated staff; greet visitors and vendors as per expectations.
• Maintain donor reception area, organize mail, and manage supplies for copy/print rooms.
• Maintain accurate donor data in the donor relationship management software and ensure confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
