Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Abiomed, seeks a Director of Category Management and Procurement Excellence based in Aachen, Germany. You will oversee direct materials spending, drive supplier strategy, and lead a 15+ person team with strong cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities include end-to-end spend performance, procurement innovation, and EU regional leadership, reporting to the Senior Director of Global Procurement. Travel ~30% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 15+ years in procurement or supply chain with deep procurement experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Fluent in German and English.

Responsabilités

• Build and manage a 15+ person category management and procurement team.
• Develop sourcing strategies, supplier relationships and risk management.
• Drive end-to-end spend performance and procurement excellence.
• Lead cross-functional programs and influence stakeholders at senior levels.
• Provide on-site leadership in Germany and represent EU procurement.
