Zero Waste Europe seeks a Head of Local Zero Waste Implementation to lead municipal and business support across Europe. You will drive strategy, coordinate EU-funded projects, and collaborate with MiZA to grow certifications. Reporting to the Executive Director, you will build fundable programs, manage budgets, and foster cross-sector partnerships.

The role is based in Brussels, primarily hybrid, with a focus on delivering practical zero waste solutions at the local level across Europe.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of experience implementing circular economy/waste management strategies in Europe.
• Experience helping cities and businesses implement circular economy solutions.

Responsabilités

• Lead the vision and strategy for local implementation across core topics.
• Oversee development of capacity-building and publications for local partners.
• Provide strategic oversight of multiple projects and ensure high-quality delivery.
