Job summary

KEYES in Belgium seeks a Director Internal IT & Operations to lead the internal IT strategy, governance, and transformation across infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and data protection. You will manage budgets and vendors, drive service quality, and lead teams to deliver a resilient, cost-controlled IT ecosystem.

The role offers teleworking up to 3 days per week and a chance to shape IT in a leading Belgian IT company, partnering with stakeholders and the CITO to drive modernization

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an IT leadership role covering IT operations, infrastructure, applications or information systems transformation.
• Strong command of IT service management practices, portfolio governance, project management and vendor management.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity, resilience, compliance, data and enterprise architecture challenges.
• Experience in integrating or rationalising information systems in a multi-entity environment.
• Ability to manage budgets, contracts, partners and complex transformation programmes.
• Leadership of technical and operational teams, with a strong focus on internal customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Professional proficiency in French, Dutch and English, or the ability to operate effectively in a trilingual environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the internal information systems roadmap to ensure business continuity, service quality, cybersecurity, resilience, integration and the modernisation of tools, while maintaining cost control and improving the employee experience.
• Lead IT strategy and roadmaps; oversee IT operations, security, and internal applications across the organisation.
• Manage budgets, contracts, vendors and the internal IT project portfolio; ensure transparency on timelines and benefits.
