Job summary

Imec in Leuven, Belgium is seeking a Director of FAIN Engineering to lead the department responsible for the concept, design, engineering and delivery of cleanroom, lab, office and utility infrastructure. You will oversee the PMO, electrical/instrumentation and mechanical engineering teams and act as a technical coach while driving the Infrastructure and Campus Master Plan.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical field.
• Several years in a high-tech or production environment.
• Thorough knowledge of facilities (gases, cooling water, HVAC, high purity water, wastewater treatment, gas detection, electricity, automation...).

Responsibilities

• Lead PMO and project managers for major facilities and infrastructure projects.
• Lead Electrical & Instrumentation and Mechanical Engineering teams and coach them technically.
• Contribute to the Infrastructure and Campus Master Plan and its annual update.
• Ensure uptime and reliability of facilities, with safe and compliant design and execution.
• Manage OPEX/CAPEX budget and reporting to management and stakeholders.
