Cytiva, part of Danaher, is seeking a Direct Sourcing Specialist to help shape global sourcing strategy for the Single Use Technologies Business Unit, supporting manufacturing sites worldwide from Hoegaarden, Belgium, on-site.

You will negotiate pricing and contracts, support supplier escalations, and drive sustainability while delivering cost-out targets with cross-functional teams across Europe and the USA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business with 2+ years’ experience in supply chain or procurement.
• Experience developing/maintaining global sourcing strategies.
• Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally at all levels.
• Experience in tactical procurement including negotiating pricing/contracts and supplier relationship management.
• Willingness to travel in Europe and USA up to 1–2 times per quarter.

The Direct Sourcing Specialist is responsible for global sourcing strategy of key business unit categories for Cytiva. They will create, update and maintain strategy and support supplier relationship management for Cytiva manufacturing sites globally. This position reports to the Director, Strategic Sourcing and is part of the Strategic Sourcing team located in Hoegaarden, BE and will be an on-site role. Who you are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical or business with 2+ years’ experience in supply chain or procurement role
• Experience developing/maintaining global sourcing strategies
• Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally at all levels of organization
• Proven experience in tactical procurement including negotiating pricing/contracts and supplier relationship management
• Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to travel in Europe and USA up to 1-2 times per quarter

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Global category management
