Job summary

NISH Tech BV seeks a Senior Practitioner – Digital Asset Technical Architect to lead architecture assurance and independent reviews for strategic transformation programmes involving financial market infrastructure, digital assets, blockchain and enterprise technology.

You will evaluate architectures, platforms and integration approaches to ensure scalability, interoperability, resilience and security, collaborating with business, architecture, engineering and operations stakeholders.

About the Role

NISH Tech BV is looking for an experienced Senior Practitioner – Digital Asset Technical Architect to lead architecture assurance and independent review engagements for strategic transformation programmes involving financial market infrastructure, digital assets, blockchain and enterprise technology.

The role focuses on evaluating solution architectures, technology platforms and enterprise integration approaches to ensure scalability, interoperability, resilience, security and operational readiness. You will collaborate with business, architecture, engineering, security and operations stakeholders to review technology roadmaps, challenge architecture decisions and identify risks, technical debt and technology dependencies.

You will provide recommendations on platform modernization, cloud adoption, enterprise integration and distributed ledger technology (DLT), while contributing to architecture governance, executive-level recommendations, technical leadership and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture assurance and independent review engagements for strategic transformation programmes.
• Assess solution architectures for modularity, interoperability, scalability, resilience, security and operational readiness.
• Facilitate workshops with business, architecture, engineering, security and operations stakeholders.
• Review technology roadmaps, architecture decisions, integration patterns and operating models.
• Identify architecture risks, technical debt, technology lock-in dependencies and re-platforming challenges.
• Recommend strategies for platform evolution, modernization, cloud adoption and enterprise integration.
• Provide architectural guidance on distributed ledger technology (DLT), blockchain solutions, digital assets and tokenization.
• Evaluate relevant DLT platforms, including Canton, DAML, Hyperledger Besu and Ethereum.
• Develop executive-level findings, decision packs and governance recommendations for senior leadership.
• Mentor architects and engineering teams while promoting architecture best practices and governance standards.
• Contribute to business development, technical proposals and solution shaping.
• Support thought leadership initiatives related to technology architecture and transformation.

Experience

• Total experience: 15+ years in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, Technology Consulting or Digital Transformation, as specified in the original role profile.
• Proven experience in architecture assurance, independent reviews and strategic technology transformation.
• Strong expertise in Azure, microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, distributed systems and integration patterns.
• Experience with digital assets, tokenization and DLT platforms, including Canton, DAML, Hyperledger Besu or Ethereum.
• Understanding of financial market infrastructure, settlement, custody, securities processing and post-trade ecosystems.
