SeeMe.ai is seeking a skilled backend engineer to design and build scalable REST/GraphQL APIs and platform services. You will focus on authentication, multi-tenancy, and data pipelines while delivering clean, tested code.

You’ll work with PostgreSQL, Docker, and Git, applying best practices in API design and container orchestration. A proactive, collaborative mindset helps the team scale efficiently.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong Python skills (FastAPI, Django, or similar).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration.
• Understanding of REST API design and best practices.
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD.

You'll build the backbone of our AI platform—the APIs, services, and infrastructure that make everything else possible. Think authentication, data pipelines, integrations, and the developer experience that our customers and internal teams rely on.We care about clean architecture, pragmatic trade-offs, and systems that scale without drama. You'll work across the stack, but with a focus on backend services and cloud infrastructure.Ideal if you've built production systems that handle real traffic, have opinions about API design, and find satisfaction in making complex things feel simple.

What You'll Do

Design and build backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs

Develop and maintain our platform infrastructure

Implement authentication, authorization, and multi-tenancy

Build data pipelines and integrations with external systems

Optimize database schemas and query performance

Write clean, tested, and documented code

What You Bring

3+ years of professional backend development experience

Strong Python skills (FastAPI, Django, or similar)

Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)

Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration

Understanding of REST API design and best practices

Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD

Bonus Points

Experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Background in multi-tenant SaaS applications

Familiarity with ML/AI systems and workflows

Experience with event-driven architectures
